Benson T. Chertok Memorial Scholarship

The Benson T. Chertok Memorial Scholarship was established in 1982 in appreciation of Benson T. Chertok’s
outstanding research and contributions to the field of High Energy Nuclear Physics, and for his teaching and
service to the Department of Physics. Income from the fund, in form of an annual spring award, will be given to an outstanding student majoring in physics, for the purchase of books or other educational needs. If there is no qualified physics student, then it can be awarded to a qualified student of science.
